Shockwaves are made up of sound waves which when applied on the musculoskeletal system cause microtraumas that promote the beginning of the healing process triggered by stem cell activation. In other words, dysfunctional tissue which can be painful, respond to shockwave therapy with cellular healing. It is expected to be mildly discomforting but can be controlled by your chiropractor to ensure it is not too painful, but used at a therapeutic level! You can expect to need 3 to 6 weekly sessions depending on the chronicity of your condition. Shockwave therapy is most effectively applied to conditions such as; plantar fasciitis, tendinopathy of the shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle and foot.

Soft Tissue therapy is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissue causing dysfunction or pain. We will treat muscles, fascia or connective tissue, tendons and ligaments by use of force aimed at directly breaking down adhesions.

Once you’re up and moving, and free of any serious pain or injury, we offer personalised programs for your return to sport/activity or for your continued growth in the gym. Rehab programs and general strength training programs are available during and after your treatment with us.
